About Me

I’m Heejung Kim, a data analyst who believes insights are only meaningful when they help solve real-world problems.
With a background that bridges data analytics, business intelligence, and automation, I focus on transforming scattered information into structured systems that drive smarter decisions. At HEXAH, I’ve built cloud-based data pipelines, automation workflows, and executive dashboards that empower teams across engineering, finance, and operations.
I first became curious about people and their behaviors while working as a docent in a museum, constantly engaging in diverse interactions. Later, as a product planning intern, I learned how to analyze qualitative factors—human behaviors and needs—and translate them into insights. That experience eventually led me to a startup environment, where I became deeply drawn to marketing and data as I compared, analyzed, and interpreted quantitative metrics.
At first glance, marketing and data might seem like entirely different fields. But I see a strong common ground: both begin with information drawn from people, and both aim to persuade and influence people in return. This perspective has shaped how I approach analytics today—not just as numbers, but as part of a bigger system of people, incentives, and behaviors, helping me uncover deeper interpretations and more meaningful insights.
I believe that solving problems isn’t just about finding the right answers—it’s about identifying the right questions. Often, the key lies not in a single data point or campaign result, but in understanding the interconnected forces that shape the problem itself. This mindset—rooted in systems thinking and a humanistic approach—guides me in my work today, allowing me to move beyond isolated analytics or tactical marketing, and toward insights that truly drive better decisions.
Beyond work, I find joy in traveling and immersing myself in new experiences—cultures, people, food, and nature. Each new perspective broadens the way I see the world, reminding me that curiosity has no boundaries. My fascination with human nature and emotions also remains strong; I often turn to films and novels, especially romance, for inspiration. And someday, I hope to write a romance novel—a different kind of journey into human connection.
